Birthday Card and Challenges

Hi everyone.  I made this card for my stash and I decided to try a few new things.  This is a digital image from Funky Kits and is a  Sugar Nellie (I am SO glad they have digis!) I cut her out with my Nestie and then I embossed and then I used distress ink while the image was still in the Nestie.  This is new to me and..obviously needs work LOL.  The image was sliding out from under, I am sure I will get the hang of it. The very bottom paper is a digi paper from a kit, this is a very old file and I am sorry I don't know who to credit.  The digi patterned paper is a freebie from Bearly Mine Designs. Donna has tons of beautiful digi paper and card inserts.  I just ordered a couple of cd's that have 700 papers.  I know I know..budget but what a great price for 700 papers! The sentiment is a freebie from Bizzy Becs. The flowers and rhinestones are from my stash and the flourish is new..newer. I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Sympathy Card and Challenges

Hi everyone. I made this sympathy card for my friend Sandi who lost her grandfather.  The Stair Way to Heaven is a digi image from Make it Crafty. The image of the "Grandfather" is one from the awesome Mo Manning.  He was actually part of a digi titled "Jack and Ginger" which also featured a female. I asked for and received permission from Mo to remove "Ginger" and merge her image with the Stair Way to Heaven image. I started coloring this 8 different times LOL.  I am still not completely happy with my work on this card but I am out of time. I guess you only get better with practice and I bit off more than I could chew LOL! Over reached just a bit. I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Help Please

Hi guys, I have been asked to make a Sympathy card for a "Grandfather".  I am appealing to the digital artist and digital store owners here, I need an image of an older man from the back. I am more than happy to purchase. I have a design idea in mind but it would require an image of an older man...very little if any hair, from the back so I could place him at the bottom of a stair case.  If anyone knows of an image like this or similar please contact me.  Thanks in advance you guys are awesome :)

Isola Artworks

Hi everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! My friend Alida, a wonderfully sweet and talented lady, is an artist and this is a picture of the hand painted glassware she has for sale on her blog, Isola Artworks. I know these glasses can be hand washed and they are also dishwasher safe.  Alida also has paintings for sale on her blog.  She also has a picture of her cat Oliver, which she decorated for Christmas (Oh yeah..you know you want to see that!) Even Santa..has problem employees and Challenges

Hi everyone, it seems even Santa has problem employees (check out the tongue on the elf).  This card is for my boss and that is what the inside sentiment says. Both of these images are from Sassy Cheryl's. I actually heat embossed the tickets (that's why they smeared lol) I used liquid applique and stickles on the hair and beards and then of course distress ink.  The ribbon is from my stash (note to self, if the ribbon is thick, place only on top of cardstock).  And the bow and bell are from an old Jolee's pack. Christmas Card for a Male and Challenges

This is a male inspired Christmas card.  I am pretty sure I CASed this idea from Tim Holtz..last year.
